Code in Place

I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted as a Section Leader for Code in Place! As a Section Leader, I will have the opportunity to knowledge share with others and help students around the world learn the fundamentals of Python. Code in Place is a free, online course that offers the first half of CS106A – which is one of the most popular courses at Stanford University – to anyone who wants to learn, regardless of background or experience.

As a Section Leader, I will lead a weekly section with a small group of 10 students, providing personalized support and guidance as they work through the course materials. I will help students with assignments, answer their questions, and facilitate discussions to help them deepen their understanding of the concepts they are learning.

The course covers a range of topics, from control flow and loops to graphics and lists, and includes assignments where students can build projects from scratch and showcase their creativity. Something special about Code in Place is its emphasis on creativity in programming. The course encourages students to build things they are proud of, to explore and experiment, and to share their work with others.

Classes start next week!
